Therefore, the d’Arbeloff Lab seeks the following:
- Recruit members to join our lab based on merit, regardless of race or sex, as required by the Civil Rights Act of 1964 applied to graduate student-workers.
- Participate in community outreach such as lab tours, the Cambridge Science Festival, and the MIT Summer Research Program.
- Foster a fair and open environment where different viewpoints, opinions, and ideologies can be freely discussed.
As engineers, we have a responsibility to the world to design and create tools that improve life. Only through individual action can we foster an environment conducive for learning, research, and camaraderie.
